From cloth to suit (part 2): Slight change of plans

In my last post I wrote about my plans for having a new suit made from a fabric I had bought. The plan was to have it made by Souster & Hicks and I had made an appointment with them to have my measurements taken and discuss the suit design. Unfortunately, this didn't work out. I was in London for a seminar and had planned to travel to Woburn and meet with them on the Saturday, but due to unforeseen circumstances I had to leave for home a day earlier than planned and the appointment had to be cancelled. As I don't live in the UK, I don't know when I'll be back in London so I've decided to have the suit made by Cad & The Dandy instead. They have all my details which mean I can have the suit made without having my measurements taken. I have been very pleased with the suits they have made me before, so I'm certain it will be a good result this time as well. With regard to the plans for having a suit made by Souster & Hicks, they have only been postponed. I will make sure to make a new appointment for the next time I travel to London.

The other posts in this series: part 1, part 3, part 4.
